The occupation sought to eradicate all what is Palestinian, especially their cultural heritage: both tangible and intangible heritage. With regards to the tangible heritage: Architecture is the main affected, as it is considered the physical record of peoples and civilizations. The intangible heritage contains beliefs and ethics of peoples, customs and traditions, such as folklore, songs, clothes, food and all other intangible heritage components._x000D__x000D_
This research comes to suggest tools and ways to raise the awareness and knowledge of society, especially children, in the heritage of grandparents, and to keep the identity of the place and the human beings in Palestine, as it is the first step for the preservation of this heritage._x000D__x000D_
This will be achieved after analysing the reality of Palestinian heritage, the challenges facing it, and the efforts exerted by governmental and non-governmental organizations in raising awareness and heritage knowledge among children in Gaza Strip. Also, by exploring the visions and realities of cultural centres involved in this field._x000D__x000D_
