This study describes Al Hamawy's life. It refers to his name, qualities ,culture, his teacher , the scholar' view on him , his most important publications, and his death. The paper also defines the book of Al-A'raab a'n qwae'd al-i' raab (the book of arabs on the rules of pursing) to Ibn Hesham Al Ansaary and its interpretations. The two authors of present paper studied the notes of Al Hamawy analytically clarifying the following things. 1. Al Hamawy's syllabus in his notes 2. his quotations from the holy Quran , the prophet's hadith and arabs' poetry and prose. 3. his sources from books and scientists' sayings. 4. his syntactic origins which are: listening measuring, modifying, reasoning. 5. his syntactic selections. 6. his syntactic approach .
