ملخص الدراسة:

Abstract The study aimed at identifying the degree at which Gaza governorates’ secondary school teachers enhance their students’ behavioral practices derived from the concept of the hereafter life as stated in the Holy Qur'an from the teachers' point of view. The study also aimed at revealing the impact of the study variables (gender, academic qualification and years of service) on the role of teachers in this endeavor and then suggesting ways to develop such a role in the enhancement of students’ behavioral practices in the light of the concept of the hereafter life as stated in the Holy Qur'an To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used a questionnaire consisting of (44) items as a tool for data collection. The questionnaire items were distributed into the following two domains: the domain of the hereafter life concept, which comprised (22) items, and the domain of the behavioral practices derived from this concept, which comprised (22) items. The questionnaire was applied on the study sample that consisted of (400) secondary school teachers in Gaza governorates in the second semester of the academic year (2015-2016). The sample represented (8%) of the total of the original population. The researcher also used focus groups to provide a proposed framework aimed at promoting the role of Gaza governorates’ secondary school teachers in enhancing students’ behavioral practices derived from the concept of the hereafter life as stated in the Holy Qur'an. The most important findings of the study include: The degree of Gaza governorates’ secondary school teachers’ practice of their role in enhancing their students’ behavioral practices was (82.68%), which is a high percentage. There were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean score of the study sample in the degree of secondary school teachers’ practice for their role in enhancing the behavior derived from the concept of hereafter life behavior as stated in the Holy Qur'an attributed to the study variables (gender, academic qualification and years of service).. Researcher recommends the need to pay great attention to the hereafter life concept by educational institutions.
