ملخص الدراسة:

The study aimed to identify the role of the effective school program in improving the administrative performance of the secondary principals in Gaza Governorates and highlight ways ofits improvement. To achieve the objectives of the study، the researcher used the analytical-descriptive approach and designed a questionnaire consisting of (51) items distributed into (4) domains. The study population consisted of all secondary school principals (whose number was 108 male and female principals) working in the directorates of education in Gaza governorates. The researcher also used the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) to process the questionnaires. Study Findings: All means of the domains ofthe effective Palestinian school program were close in terms of percentage weights. The total score of the questionnaire as a whole got a percentage weight of (85.80%)، which indicates that the degree of the role of the effective school program in improving the administrative performance of the secondary school principals in Gaza governorates from theirviewpoint wasvery large. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the sample’s estimate of the degreeof the role of the effective school program in improving the administrative performance of the secondary school principals attributed to the study four variables (gender، academic qualification، years of service، the directorate of education). Study Recommendations: The study concluded with several recommendations، the most important of which were as follows: The application of the effective Palestinian school program in all governmental، private and UNRWA schools in Gaza Governorates as the results of the study confirmed that the program positivelycontributed to the development of the teaching-learning system.. Attention should be paid to increasing the professional growth among principals and teachers in the light of the effective Palestinian school program through training courses، workshopsand supervisory visits so as to inform them and discuss with themthe new changes in the teaching-learning policy.
