This study discusses an important topic which is Recreation Objective of the study: the objective of the study is to explain the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed in regards with recreation. The study consists of two chapters each of which consists of two sections. Research methodology: The study approach depends on collecting the prophetic traditions from of the Sunnah relevant to the topic of recreation then adopting what is true, it doesn’t make any harm to get familiar with those weak traditions. Then the narration of the traditions is authenticated so as to remove any ambiguity and resolve conflicts if any. The most important findings of the study: Recreation is lawful Recreation has controls to ensure no excess or negligence Seriousness is the central spine of a Muslim life, recreation is only dependent to it on the condition that recreation must not breach masculinity and virility, but it should be controlled. The most important recommendations of the study: Working to control recreation through different media. Findings alternatives for banned recreation through finding what is lawful. The Islamic media should pay more attention to attracting new generations to guide them to what is lawful.
