ملخص الدراسة:

This study aims to identify the role of the boards of directors in improving the performance of auditing committees in the banks listed on the Palestine Stock Exchange. In order to achieve this objective, the researchers have adotped the descriptive and analytical approach, as being the most appropriate technique to conduct such a study. Therefore, a questionnaire has been designed as a means to collect data from the population of the study which was composed of 69 board members of the banks listed on the Palestine Stock Exchange. (67 responses were received) One of the most prominent conclusions of the study was that the boards of directors of the banks listed on the Palestine stock Exchange support the performance of auditing committees significantly, in the areas of external audit , internal control system, internal auditing and preparing financial reports. * [email protected]
