Caliphate was one of the bases on which the philosophy of Ottoman rule was based. They regarded as their state as a contributions of the Arab-Islamic State which had fell in (1258 A.H.) on the hands of Mogul.Historians are divided between a supporter and oppose of the movement of the caliphate system and did not use the title "Caliph" after they subjected the Arab homeland. They were sufficed to the use of the title "Sultan". Is Ottoman claim of caliphate is only a claim or is they used caliphate as an established system. Many historians repeated what their enemies said about counterfeiting.
