This role was represented in constructing the Arab –Islamic civilization model. In fact , the mosques were really considered as universities joined by students from all other countries in the world ._x000D_
This research studies the role of Waqf in supplementing the scientific research in Palestine ._x000D_
It includes five themes :_x000D_
1. The first shows what Waqf really is ._x000D_
2. The second is about the role of Waqf in supplementing educational institutions._x000D_
3. The third is about the role of Waqf in supplementing cultural institutions._x000D_
4. The fourth deals with the most important problems facing Waqf in accomplishing its tasks ._x000D_
5. The fifth deals with the ways to over come such problems._x000D_
The research concludes with some recommendations
