The research discusses an important topic in the reality of human societies which is the protection of civilians in both Islamic laws and international humanitarian law. The research confirmed the convergence of international humanitarian law with Islamic law in the protection of civilians. The study clarified the extent to which the rules of international humanitarian law are influenced by the basic principles and general, humanitarian, moral, and literary rules of Islamic law. The study also confirmed the need to combine good efforts in defense of civilians, not violating their sanctities in all circumstances, in peace and war conditions, in disputes and discounts between nations, conflicts and problems in one country. Finally, it's written a set of conclusions and recommendations at the end of this study.
