<strong>ملخص الدراسة:</strong>

This study aims to examine the concept of rejection in the poetry of Palestinian prisoners by way examining the rejection of the prison and the rejection of humiliation – the insistence on steadfastness and the rejection of annihilation – that is, holding on to life and hope and the rejection of subservience to the jailor and Arab defeatism. The study then examines the stylistic features of the poetry of rejection and what rhetorical values they entail which reflect their images of rejection.
