This research presents two important stages from the life of El-Jowani, the Imam of the two holly mosqurs. The first stage comprises the Imam's approach in defending the creed of Islam and his approach in interpreting God's attributions. The Imam had a significant role in laying the interllectual principles and refuting and exposing the other erroneous approaches. He depended mainly on the Mutazala Sect, which was attributed to the power of reason and interpretation, rather than the Quran and Sunna. This led to consequences in Ithbat (affirmation) which contradicted God'd attributions Stated in the Quran and Sunna. The late stage of the Imam's life was crowned by the return of the Imam to the quranic approach leaving the Mutazala's approach and interpretaion. He advised Muslim believers not to trouble themselves with the science of Kalam (philosophical arguments). The last books authored by the Imam show his sincerity and righteousness in adopting the approach of the first generation of the Muslim Ummah (nation).
