<strong>ملخص الدراسة:</strong>

This paper studies the theory of Imam Daraqutni in dismissing Jahala, ignorance, from a narrator in case two other narrators narrate from him, compared to opinions of adīth Imams in this respect. It prepared author biographies of the narrators described as ignorant in his book as-Sunan, twenty-four in total, in order to identify the extent to which the applied study corresponds with the theory proposed by ad-Daraqutni on dismissing ignorance. This paper comprises two parts. The first part includes a brief author biography of Imam ad-Daraqutni, a brief account of the discipline of al-Jar wat-Ta c dīl, impugning and approving, and theory of ignorance.
