This paper aimed at shedding some light on the role and importance of financial arbitration in solving commercial disputes in Gaza Strip. In line with its nature and aims, the study used the analytical descriptive approach. The study arrived at the following conclusions:-Arbitration and litigation continue to be the preferred mechanism available to the businesses in Gaza Strip for resolving commercial disputes.-The failure of businesses in Gaza strip to keep proper books of accounts constitutes a core reason for having commercial disputes.-The performance of the accounting function by unqualified accountants continued to be an important reason for financial disputes in Gaza Strip. In the light of the above conclusions, the paper recommended recruiting qualified accountants and maintaining proper books of accounts for all businesses immediately upon their establishment. 1 -
