<strong>ملخص الدراسة:</strong>
This study focused on the evaluation and analysis of managerial characteristics in family establishments and their prospects in the Gaza Strip with particular focus on the industrial establishments. The study concluded that, there is a lack of formal planning in most Gaza's family establishments regardless their sizes. Gaza's family establishments lack formal organizational structure. In addition, decision making is centralized in the hands of the family grand. Moreover, the study concluded that there is a significant positive correlation between managerial characteristics (finance, organization structure and planning) from one side and establishments' age, capital size and number of employees from the other. Further, the future important role of Gaza's family establishments will continue in employment, production and economic development.
