<strong>هدف هذا البحث إلى استقصاء أثر استخدام أنموذجي فراير وويتلي في اکتساب المفاهيم البلاغية لدى طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن مقارنة بالطريقة التقليدية. تکون أفراد البحث من(</strong><strong>75) </strong><strong>طالباً من طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي تمّ توزيعهم عشوائياً على ثلاث مجموعات متکافئة متساوية، درّست المجموعة التجريبية الأولى باستخدام أنموذج فراير، ودرّست المجموعة التجريبية الثانية باستخدام أنموذج ويتلي، بينما درّست المجموعة الضابطة بالطريقة التقليدية. کانت أداة البحث اختبار اکتساب المفاهيم البلاغية والاحتفاظ بها بعد التأکد من إجراءات الصدق والثبات له. أظهرت نتائج البحث وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين أفراد الدراسة تعزى للأسلوب المستخدم في التحصيل والاحتفاظ بالتعلم على حد سواء، ولصالح الطلاب الذين درّسوا باستخدام أنموذج فراير أولاً، والطلاب الذين درّسوا باستخدام أنموذج ويتلي ثانياً مقارنة بالطلاب الذين درّسوا بالطريقة التقليدية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج تم التوصل إلى عدد من التوصيات.</strong><strong> </strong><strong><strong>This research aimed at investigating the effect of using Fryer's and Wheatly's models in the rhetorical concepts acquisition and retention on students in tenth grade in Jordan with the traditional method. The sample consisted of(75) male students who were randomly distributed into three groups; the first group was taught by using Fryer's model، the second group was taught by using Wheatly's Model while the third group was taught by using the traditional method. An acquisition and retention tests were used in this study after calculating their reliability and validity. The findings showed significant differences attributed to the acquisition and retention tests in favour of Fryer's model firstly، then in favor of Wheatly's Model comparing to the traditional method. In the light of the mentioned findings، some recommendations were stated</strong></strong>
