<strong>ملخص الدراسة:</strong>

<strong>هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الکشف عن درجة توافر معايير المحتوى العالمية في محتوى کتب العلوم</strong><strong> للصفوف السادس والسابع والثامن الأساسية في الأردن، وذلک من خلال الإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة حول درجة توافر محتوى کتب العلوم للصفوف (6-8) الأساسية لمجالات وموضوعات المعايير العالمية. تکونت عينة الدراسة التحليلية من کتب العلوم للصفوف (6-8) الأساسية في الأردن، وتم في الدراسة استخدام بطاقة تحليل محتوى الکتب المدرسية من إعداد الباحث حسب مجالات وموضوعات المعايير العالمية.</strong><br /> <strong>وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة ما يلي:</strong><br /> <strong>-        </strong><strong>اشتمال محتوى الکتب الثلاثة على مجال "دمج مفاهيم العلم وعملياته" بنسبة (47,58%)، يليه "مجال العلم عملية استقصائية" (26,39%)، ثم "مجال العلم من منظور شخصي واجتماعي" (12,4%)، وأخيراً "مجالي تاريخ وطبيعة العلم"، و"العلم والتکنولوجيا" (6,90%، 6,7</strong><strong>6</strong><strong>%) على الترتيب.</strong><br /> <strong>-        </strong><strong>اشتمال محتوى الکتب الثلاثة على الموضوعات العلمية وفق الترتيب الآتي: علم الحياة (39,81%)، والعلوم الفيزيائية (38,23%)، وعلم الأرض والفضاء (22,0%).</strong><br /> <strong>This study aimed at investigating the assessment of integrating the global standards of content in Jordanian science text books of the sixth, seventh and eighth basic grades in Jordan. This was achieved through answering the study questions about integrating the global standards of content in Jordanian science books of the sixth, seventh and eighth basic grades. Sample of this study consisted of a group of science books for the basic grades from (6-8) in Jordan in the schooling year 2009/2010.To answer for study question the researcher developed an analysis checklist for Jordanian science books according to Global Standards and its scientific topics.</strong><br /> <strong>The findings of the study showed that:</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>The three books contained the domain of integrating science concepts and processes within a rate of (47.58%) followed by science as an inquiry process (26.39%), then, science from a personal and social perspective (12.4%). Finally, the domains of science nature and history as well as science and technology within (6.90% and 6.76%) rates respectively. </strong><br /> <strong>The three books contained science topic in another arrangement, as life science came first within a rate of (39.81%) followed by physics science (38.23%) and finally geology and astronomy (22.0%).</strong>
