The essence of communication between the addresserand the addresser relies on understanding the meaning oflinguistic message . Meaning may be prone to ambiguity andmisunderstanding . In this case , language has its own means tosafeguard meaning against such phenomena.The research aims at investigating some aspects of this topic inorder to reveal the close connectivity between syntax andsemantics . So the research studies : the methods of ensuringmeaning clarification , and their role in the structure of theQuranic sentenece Special attention is given to intonation ,context , and intensification.The research then tackles some aspects of avoiding ambiguityin the Quranic sentence . These aspects include the shift fromone mode to another , using noun in place of pronoun ,foregrounding and back grounding , expanding withoutaffecting the structure of the sentence and the structural andstylistic changes.
