هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على عمليات العلم الأساسية والمتکاملة الواردة في کتب العلوم لصفوف المرحلة الأساسية العليا في الأردن، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقد تکوَّن مجتمع الدراسة من کتب العلوم لصفوف المرحلة الأساسية العليا (السابع، الثامن، التاسع) في الأردن للعام الدراسي 2019/2020، وکانت عيِّنة الدراسة مجتمعها، وأظهرت الدراسة نتائج من أبرزها أن عملية الملاحظة هي أکثر عمليات العلم الأساسية تضمينا في کتب العلوم موضوع الدراسة فيما لم تتضمن الکتب عمليتي استخدام العلاقات الزمانية والمکانية، وعملية الاتصال، وقد تضمنت الکتب عمليات العلم المتکاملة جميعها، وکانت عملية التجريب هي أکثر العمليات تکرارًا. وأوصت الدراسة في ضوء نتائجها بمجموعة من التوصيات منها؛ تضمين عمليات العلم الأساسية في کتب صفوف المرحلة الأساسية العليا بشکل منظم ومتوازن<br /> The study aims to examine the integrated and preliminary science processes mentioned in the upper basic grades science books at the basic educational stage of Jordan, by using the analytical and descriptive approach, where the study population consisted of science books for the upper basic grades of the basic educational stage of Jordan, for the school year 2019/2020, and used this study population as the study sample. The study came with several results, and the most important are: the noticing and observation process is the most implied basic science process in the science books; as the study topic, but the books didn’t include the use of temporal and spatial relationships, and communication processes, but includes all of the integrated science processes, where the experimentation process was the most frequent. The study made a group of recommendations; upon its results, some of those are: including the basic science processes in the books of the upper basic grades regularly and in a balanced way,
