<strong>ملخص الدراسة:</strong>

<strong>هدفت الدراسة إلى بحث العلاقة بين أبعاد الملل الأکاديمي والسلوک العدواني، وتعرف مدى إسهام أبعاد الملل الأکاديمي في التنبؤ بالسلوک العدواني، والفروق فيهما تبعا للجنس. وقد تکونت عينة الدراسة من (</strong><strong>185</strong><strong>) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة المرحلة الثانوية بدولة الکويت، طبق عليهم مقياس الملل الأکاديمي إعداد مظلوم (</strong><strong>2014</strong><strong>)، ومقياس </strong><strong>Buss</strong><strong>& </strong><strong>Perry</strong><strong> للسلوک العدواني . وقد کشفت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة على مقياس الملل الأکاديمي بجميع أبعاده، وکذلک على مقياس السلوک العدواني بجميع أبعاده، وقد تبين أن البعد الانفعالي متغير يسهم بصورة دالة في التنبؤ بالسلوک العدواني، وذلک بحجم تأثير (17.7 %)، کما تبين وجود فروق تبعا للجنس في کل من الدرجة الکلية، والبعد الانفعالي للملل الأکاديمي، وفي السلوک العدواني، وکانت الفروق في اتجاه الذکور.</strong><br /> <strong>The study aims to examine the relationship between the dimensions of academic boredom and aggressive behavior; identify the extent to which the dimensions of academic boredom contribute to predicting aggressive behavior; and find out the differences therein based on the students’ sex. The study sample consisted of 185 male and female secondary school students from the State of Kuwait, where the Academic Boredom Scale, prepared by Mazloum (2014), and the Buss-Perry Aggression Scale, were applied. The findings revealed a positive correlation on the Academic Boredom Scale and all its dimensions, as well as on the Aggression Scale and all its dimensions. It was found that the emotional dimension is the one variable that contributes significantly to predicting aggressive behavior, with an impact rate of %17.7. Differences based on the students’ sex were also detected in the total score, emotional dimension of academic boredom, and aggressive behavior, where males tended to account for those differences.</strong>
