<strong>ملخص الدراسة:</strong>

The study aims at estimating the human and material damages resulted from the last Israeli hostilities in 2014 on education sector at all Gaza provinces and the Ministry's contribution in facing them. The study results reveals that the toll of martyrs at the education sector, higher education, general education and kindergarten, stood at 822 students and 45 employees. As the number of injuries is 2703 students and 98 employees, in addition to damages range between total and partial took place at 327 school facilities. The total losses of school facilities have been estimated to be 16 millions $. In respect of the total losses of school furniture, devices and equipment have been estimated to be 2, 806, 946 millions $. At the level of higher education, 11 institutions have been exposed to damages which losses have been estimated to be 16 millions $. Also, 276 kindergarten have been hit whereas 19 have been totally damaged and the rest range between sever and partial damages. Moreover, the study features measures have been taken by the Ministry before and during the hostilities and the lessons learned of such experience.
