This study aims at determining the extent to which Palestinian local banks held banking efficiency. The standard analytical method has been used in this study by using the quantitative approach of stochastic cost frontier model to estimate the translog cost function to measure the elasticities of substitution, input price elasticities, and scale and scope efficiency. The Frontier4.1 program has been used to measure the operational efficiency of the study sample consisting of seven Palestinian local banks. Variables data have been collected through the annual reports of the tackled banks during the period from 2006 until 2011.
